Condolence: Madge and Donald were always part of my extended family. They were so kind to me and included me along with Barbara Ann Brown Blysak at their home. You young children were my favorite adopted niece and nephew's. I loved it that you called me Aunt Barbara Luigi (after our sweet yellow lab Luigi). Barbara Ann keeps me informed of your lives and your activities and I only wish I could be there with you to shed some tears and give you all hugs. You are always welcome to come and see us in Kelowna, BC if you get west on vacation. Love you all and thinking of you today and always. I will miss writing your mother Madge each year at Christmas. We have never missed a year since I went west with your aunt Barbara Anne in 1971, Lets keep in touch. Barbara

Condolence: I wrote a condolence to my Grandfather not too long ago where i compared my Grandfather's life to a rowing race. I sit here today trying to think of a similar comparison to this and realize that my Grandmother lived life a little different. She didn't "empty the tank" like her husband. She wanted to know what was on the BBQ for afterward. She wanted to see the smiles and the pat-on-the-backs of everyone around them. Grandma, I'll never forget my memories with you from the cottage to coooking holiday dinners. My favourite memory was when my Mom told me to tell you about my spontaneous tattoo in first year (naturally, without parental notice). I think she wanted you to yell at me, but all you did was laugh. You have a humor I'll never forget. You taught us all that sometimes we need to ask ourselves "why not?" and go with the flow...with good food, of course! Memories with you will be remembered forever. Your journey here may be over but i know that in hand with Grandpa and Sam you'll watch together my own BBQs and pat-on-the-backs until my own journey ends.

Condolence: Madge It is hard to beilieve you are gone. I try to remember life when we were kids and Mom made you take me to the show with you and your friends. The allowance you gave for doing your dishes at home. You were in Seventh heaven when Don asked you to marry him. These are such simple memories of a family in our youth. You went on to have 4 great kids who were independent and capable adults who always kept in touch. Your life was not without sadness from your losses but you were strong for your family.
She died in the night at 4.30am
We won't see her like, ever again
We will mourn our loss of love
It will come via heaven above
