Obituary for Edna Margaret Rediker

Edna Margaret Rediker
Passed away on Monday July 17th at the age of 76. Edna left us while her loving son Rex Rediker and her devoted granddaughter Melissa Dennis (nee Rediker) were by her side to ensure a warm & loving transition. With loving prayers Edna’s sister Opal Barnett (nee Woods) and her dedicated friend Ditte McLachlan also ensured a safe & loving passage.
Edna is now in Heaven with our father and also reunited with her loving husband Russell Rediker (Tom) whom she missed so much and her daughter Melodie Jane. No doubt they are dancing & laughing in joy once again.
Edna never knew how many people she touched daily. She was a gift to all who met her. She gave help to those who needed it and honest advice that you could depend on.
She will be missed by so many people, family, friends & even the people she met daily on the street. She could put a smile on any face.
Edna is survived by her son Rex Rediker & his wife Sherry Vonpickartz , granddaughter Melissa Dennis and her husband Chris Dennis, grandsons Joe Vonpickartz & his wife Jenna, Gavin Rediker, Fawkes Rediker and four great grandchildren Emma Dennis, Leah Dennis, Thea Vonpickartz & Aryk Vonpickartz, brother Oakley Woods & his wife Donna and their family, sister Opal Barnett and her husband James Barnett and their family, brother-in-law Dale Rediker & his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 30 2017 at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South Fergus from 1:00 to 3:00pm.
